• e-AcademiaOnline.org is an “Online Learning Platform” owned by Cheeta Ltd. It is also sometimes referred to as eLearning, Distance Learning or Distance Education that delivers instruction to students who are separated from the instructor or instructors, and that supports regular and substantive interaction between students and instructor(s) either synchronously (students are required to log in and participate in class at a specified time each week) or asynchronously (online learning that allows students to view instructional materials each week at any time).

    It allows students to take courses and earn qualifications such as degrees remotely, without the need to be physically present on campus. It is a webspace or portal for educational content and resources that offers a student everything they need in one place: lectures, resources, opportunities to meet and chat with other students, and more. It is also an excellent way for the student and the teacher to monitor student progress.

    This platform can also be available to any institutions that would like to create their own learning, education environment as well as businesses that might have a need for corporate learning or a continuous education platform for their staff.

    Technologies used for instruction may include the following: Internet; one-way and two-way transmissions through open broadcasts, closed circuit, cable, microwave, broadband lines, fiber optics, satellite, or wireless communication devices; audio conferencing; and video cassette, DVDs and CD-ROMS, if the cassette, DVDs, and CD-ROMs are used in a course in conjunction with the technologies listed above.
